After an exceptional season with Liverpool in the Premier League and the Champions League, winger Mohamed Sarah is assured that he was aiming to win the PFA Player of the Year and prove his critics wrong since the first day.
Salah has arguably lived his most successful season in his professional career on a personal level. He is the current English Premier League top scorer with 31 goals and has overall 43 goals in 50 games in all competitions this season.
In addition to winning the p PFA Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year awards, Salah is close to winning the Golden Boot as he is leading the race with 31 goals, three above second-placed Harry Kane.
“I’m always thinking about new achievements and records which makes me work harder,” he told ON Ent TV channel. “This helps me focus on being the best. Sometimes I feel pressured thinking about numbers but at the same time it is a positive thing that increases my determination.”
The young Egyptian is up for a new challenge as he is aiming to win the Champions League title after Liverpool qualified for the final, where they will meet holders Real Madrid, with the Spanish side being considered as the favourites, having won the competition in three of the last four years.
