The Aston Villa striker has been shortlisted for the award along with Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest), Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) and Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough).
Abraham notched an assist as Aston Villa beat Bolton Wanderers 2-0 on November 2, before finding the net against Derby County and Birmingham City.
On November 28, the England U21 star scored his first professional hat-trick in a ten-goal thriller between Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
Explaining why Abraham was nominated, the EFL stated on their official website: ” An astonishing month for the on-loan Chelsea man as he bagged six times in just four games for Villa, which included a four-goal haul against Nottingham Forest in a 5-5 draw at Villa Park.
”He also managed to get on the scoresheet in his first second-city derby against Birmingham City.”
Only Lewis Grabban (Nottm Forest) and Neal Maupay (Brentford) have scored more goals than Abraham in the Championship in the 2018-19 campaign.
