Escaped Chibok Girl graduates in America

One of the  ChibokGirls who were able to escape after being kidnapped by BokoHaram in 2014, has become the first escapee to obtain an associate degree from an institution abroad.
On Friday May 17, 2019, Palmatah Mutah, one of the 276 schoolgirls abducted, earned an associate degree from a community college in the U.S. The 23-year-old had escaped by jumping out of a Boko Haram truck.
